Facts about newborn husky puppies

It’s week 2 of watching Bowie’s puppies grow up in the world and we’re always learning so much from them! 🐶 Here’s some developments this week…

👀 Puppies are born with their eyes closed but their eyes have now opened! We hope they like our faces smiling at them 🙈
👂 Puppies are also born with their ears closed. At two weeks, their ear canals are starting to open up. We wonder what our voices sound like to their ears!
🪢Puppies are born with an umbilical cord — mum Bowie had to chew them off!
🐾 Puppies are born with pretty long and sharp fingernails! Beware!
🐕 They move on their bellies but will start squiggling and eventually standing up at around 3 weeks.

These chunky monsters are fully 100% themselves and proud of their puppyhood. They also want you to know that no matter how old you are, you too can be a puppy at heart! You just need to do a few squiggles everyday to shake loose, live true to who you are, and don’t worry about what others think 😉 Big yawns everyday and naps are good for you too 💙

Huskies are the greatest and cutest doggies on earth. I grew up with five dogs, two of which were huskies, and while I loved all of them, I have to admit the two huskies were my favorite, such personalities! I miss them so much!

i lost my baby boy beaux an alaskan husky, in march of this year, i miss him so, but the videos have replaced some of my loss, if i weren't so ill i would get another but my health is fading fast now he is gone. good mommy and beautiful pups.
