Apple iPhone 14 Event: Everything Announced in 11 Minutes!

Apple announced a ton of new products at today's Far Out iPhone event. Those products include a new Apple Watch Series 8, Apple Watch SE and Apple Watch Ultra, AirPods Pro 2 and a new iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, Pro and Pro Max.

I do enjoy Apple taking the expected, in the case "the Pill", and doing something unexpected with it. Hopefully developers push the "Dynamic Island" into new territories and make this cut-out part of Apple's engaging experience. And is anyone else surprised by the absence of gross price hikes. That was super surprising.

The price on the Ultra was a big and pleasant surprise, as you said. Interestingly, for me, the much longer battery life was most exciting... Especially in Low Power Mode. With no new chip this year (and really no new chip for the past 3 years). I'm still keeping my Apple Watch series 6. But next year I may pull the trigger on the Ultra if it gets a new, improved chip.

I think watch ultra is a good buy. But personally I will wait for another one year for the possible new chip that may be more power efficient and more pro activity tracking app compatibility.
As for iPhone, I will also wait for another year because it is almost certain that all iPhones will get type c charging port next year

I’ll definitely be picking up the AirPod Pro 2. The upgrades actually feel worth it after the delay in a new version. I’ll be able to use my Apple Watch chargers along with better noise cancellation and volume control. Sounds great to me.
