I'm unable to remove one burner coil. It seems stuck perhaps due to grease buildup. I've pulled as hard as possible & can't remove it. I've even lifted the stovetop & tried pulling it from under there. Any suggestions?

Thanks a bunch! I'd done all the cleaning and had the drip pans drying for about 2 days and came back to reassemble. I was like 'uh oh!' when I realized I spaced on how I took it apart 🤣🤣. This was helpful and I can cook again!! Yaaaay!

I have cooked only on gas for 63 years. Now I'm in a house with an electric stove and I hate it.
I've been here 2 years and haven't cleaned under the burners because IT TERRIFIES ME!
Luckily, I'm a neat cook, plus I don't cook much anymore because I don't like cooking on electric.😕 So there isn't a big mess under there.

You have given me courage to tackle what I thought would be a deadly task.😉😄😄
