Skyrim Live Action Trailer - The Dragonborn Comes [malufenix]

Bethesda's live action trailer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Audio mostly replaced with malufenix's cover of The Dragonborn Comes with the original video's dragon roar synced. As per a request from Reddit, I synced "Dovahkiin, Dovahkiin," with the unsheathing of the sword. I do not own legal rights to this trailer of Skyrim. I do not own the rights to the song.

The irony of this video is that in-game, the townspeople tend to be more effective at fighting dragons than the Dragonborn is.

I believe that is studded armor with an iron helmet and gauntlets, he also has a steel sword and judging the color and shape of the dragon it is just a simple common dragon, I'd say it's a pretty fair fight

Even listening to this about 8 years later, I'm impressed at how well the song and trailer synchronized. Video editing was involved, and it felt (near-)perfectly paced. Well done all and alleluia!

Honestly this is way better than the actual trailer. The silence from the clips gives it a very eerie feel to it as opposed to the chaotic panic in the actual trailer. And the slow-mo just adds to it.

This would be so good if it were a TV series. It wouldn't be able to be a movie/movie series though because it would then have to focus on the story arcs in rapid succession and it wouldn't work particularly well. As a TV series though, it could have the potential to be amazing as they could follow each arc for a series of episodes and then transition to the next. Or if they needed to, the creators/writers could implement a villain/problem of the week to be solved each episode. It's likely that it won't end up becoming a series but I would LOVE to see it happen nevertheless.
