Stream DAW Audio to TWITCH with OBS [FREE & EASY]

Want to know how to get the audio directly from your DAW so you can stream music on Twitch or YouTube? Well in this video I'll show you the free and easy way to get it all set up.

Many of us musicians only have one computer and want to live stream music production, tutorials, or music performances on Twitch and YouTube. It can seem complicated to route the audio out of a DAW so that you can stream with all your plugins, FX, and software instruments.

The solution is very simple and only requires the use of your Digital Audio Work Station, OBS broadcast software, and one simple plugin on your master bus.

Using the ReaStream plugin from Cuckos Reaper we can redirect the master bus audio output from any Digital Audio Workstation and feed it directly into OBS so that you can have a live feed of your music or production on a live stream.

This technique DOES NOT require you to purchase Voxengo or a VST wrapper and works with 32bit or 64bit Windows computer systems. This technique will not work with StreamLabs OBS.

Following these easy steps you'll have the audio output form your DAW directed into OBS and have the best sounding music streams possible!

This process has been plaguing me :( what if you’re riffing to a recording you did? Would it pick up the solo even if you aren’t recording?

My DAW (Reaper) has no spare channels, so I am unable to have audio working in it and OBS at the same time... Anyone know how to create/find a spare audio channel in order to send the audio to OBS at the same time as still having it in reaper? To clarify, I want to stream a recording session, not just be able to play my instrument through OBS. I can play through OBS but that stops once I open reaper.

Also, I can only what I play in one speaker through obs, though I have gone to advanced audio options and observed that the DAW audio capture is set to middle for panning.
