Actually, that front tire coming loose there was a blessing. If that would have happened on the highway. It could have been a disaster for your whole family. Someone's looking out for you!

You guys are lucky that the car broke down on your property rather than while going 65-70 mph on the way home! 😮

Geotextile fabric is good to put down first before putting gravel down. Your gravel will not disappear into the dirt.

Putting small humps in the road will divert rain water. We did them about 75 ft apart. WORKED WONDERS!!

Stumbled upon your channel about 3 years ago. Was hooked immediately. Your patience and kindness and love for each other and your children is a true respite from all the world’s troubles. Not to mention accomplishing great things together!

My grandfather was a rancher, he had a tractor that he would let me sit with him and steer it. While he did stuff on his rancher, when i was 4 years old, i am 73 know and remember that like it was yesterday. Here is to hoping you son will remember riding with his dad. Then we would go eat flapjacks, which is what he called pancakes.

Your kids are so lucky to have you two for parents. Being allowed to play outside and in the I would expect your children to have fewer sick days and less problems that house bound children experience. Love your new site and I am looking forward to see all the work being done. Trim around all the fruit trees and you will be rewarded in the future. Be good Be safe and hug the ones you love.

Hi guys, it doesn’t matter about things getting broken as long as you all are ok, my life changed in 2018. I lost my leg above knee, with many other ailments, you wouldn’t think how hard it is to live with only one leg but keep up the good work keep loving each other, Cliff from Logan City Queensland Australia 🇦🇺 from the big island 🏝️

Make sure you put down a woven geotextile barrier (stabilization fabric like "US 200") beneath the gravel so your driveway lasts. Do it right, do it once!! ❤

Seeing you working with your boy in your lap was very heartwarming, Spencer. Keep that up. He will cherish that time for years to come. I'm loving the progress on your property.

My daughter's Jeep did that same was just driving around a corner slowly and it happened! So sorry, but so glad he can do it and you don't have to also pay a mechanic! The kids are so adorable; can't believe how fast they're growing up.

Another benefit of trimming and cutting back the trees where you plan to place the cabin is, it reduces the risk of the cabin being exposed if wildfires should breakout, as well as heavy storms snapping the trees👍

Speaking of trees, we had a tulip poplar tree in our backyard growing up. This tree was massive- as in 3 adults could extend their arms to circle it and only their fingertips would be able to touch. My dad used a river barge rope to make a rope swing and the branch never even sagged. We estimated the trees age to easily be over 100 years old and it was straight and tall and bloomed beautifully every year. One of my favorite trees 😊
