Mott the Hoople - Mott - 3 - Hymn for the Dudes - vinyl original mix

From my original 1973 album signed by Ian Hunter at a recent show at Club Helsinki in Hudson, New York. (Though you wouldn't know that's his name—does it say "Selfie"?) This old vinyl has the nice grainy compressed feel, just right for a rock n roll classic.

I EQd very slightly to compensate for my old needle, and added Universal Audio's Ampex plugin with a mastering preset to boost the volume and add a touch of fullness. Otherwise this is the original mix from vinyl using a U-Turn Audio Orbit turntable to a Universal Audio Apollo interface.

Until now I've just posted super rare stuff when I do vinyl, but my brother in law wanted some classic album vinyl recordings—they do sound really different and great!
