8Dio Century Ostinato Strings - Official Walkthrough

8Dio Century Ostinato is a product designed for audio-realistic string writing. We sampled both Violins, Violas, Cellos, and Basses (identical to rest of 8Dio Century Strings) at 4 different speeds and at multiple velocities. All string groups were recorded in complete symmetry, so they can freely work together. Just play them like a piano.

You're doing a lot of composing that sounds like Vivaldi for this demo. Vivaldi is such an ostinato composer. Very little counterpoint, but textures almost like metal. I appreciate you making your ostinati more harmonically interesting than the usual four chord cinematic style as of late. Oh, and of course, BEAUTIFUL sampling!

Sounds amazing! And yes! You'll never get that sound with regular spiccato/staccato patches. Besides this library I have NI ACTION/EMOTIONAL STRINGS as well. Good libraries, but not as versatile and easy to use like this one!

Although these are great multispeed loops, will this library allow a person to play the source samples, sound patches from a controller keyboard?

It sounds good, but from this video it's impossible to tell how much of these examples you are playing and how much is simple prerecorded riffs. There are too many riff libraries out there already! I looked at the Kontakt keyboard during your examples and didn't see anything happening.

I've been trying to think of the uses of these ostinatos in my epic music but I realized they fit the more old classical genre like Mozart and Bach.
