Good but too fast and not well explained.  You could have gone a bit slower and made your button presses more clear or highlighted AND spoken WHAT you were clicking and WHY.  I had to stop and rewind and play again several times!  The instruction is good for a beginner or intermediate user, but maybe you should explain what basics the user should already know how to do before watching this video.  Thanks for taking the time to make it though.

Lousy video. Following your video and using a Nexus 6 running Lollipop. Lots of steps and results don't match up. Very confusing.

Good use of the variables, as it helps teach the basics of how they work, and they can easily be used with future projects

Sorry, one more question about cell towers and scanning multiple towers, as in my case.  How do I pick up those multiple towers and how do I make sure Tasker understands it is Tower A, B, OR C, and not an "all" command.  thanks again.

Need help pole position,
I've been using your video tutorials to set up my galaxy S3 running on Kit Kat 4.4.2 not rooted.
For a month the profile was working like a charms and all of a sunden profile not working when screen is off.
I google to see if other users was experiencing same problem and I read that I needed to check in Tasked preference cell workaround or new cell.
However the problem still persist profile won't work when screen is off.

Need some advise, on how to resolve the matter. Not sure why this is happening now when at first everything was working like a charms.

Thanks for getting back to me..

This is great, very helpful.  But one question, My Night Time folder appears to have all the profiles, not just the Sleep Time.  Will that be an issue further down the line or is it okay to have the Sleep Time, Home WiFi, Near Home, etc, all in the same folder?

Thanks for making this series! Is there any difference between using "Cell near" vs "Wifi Near?" Is one more reliable than the other for triggering "Near Home" and "Not Near Home?"

Thank you very much for sharing. Much appreciated! I have one question, when I enter the silent mode, I can only find "off" and "vibrate" mode and cannot find "on" mode. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi PolePosition, I'm using your excellent video to set up my very first tasker profile and I have a question for you: when I'm in silent mode, I can't choose to turn it on, I only have two options available, "off" or "vibrate".

Would you happen to know why is that?

I love your videos, you're the best!

Thx a lot!

Hi, it's me again, I want to know, is it normal that my variable value %Outdoor - 1 is highlighted green when I'm home?

My other profiles, wifi home and near home are also highlighted.

I'm home btw

A great video. Thank you.

It looks as though using exit tasks and 'invert' in tasks can save a lot of headaches! :) I also like your tip on cloning tasks, then renaming and working with the clones.

I have a question: Why have an Outdoor variable (and associated profile)? Surely setting %Home to 0 in the Not Near Home profile is enough, as that's the variable which triggers the Sleep profile? (%Outdoor and the Outdoor profile would then be obsolete and could be deleted - or have I missed something?)

One question. How do you tell the variable Outdoor you have arrived home?

Did anyone find out, why the silent mode shows only "off" and "vibrate"?

you have some videos here! Watching this one, I have a question:

Instead of shutting WiFi of completely, what is the best way to turn WiFi on only after every half hour of the night, leave it on for ten minutes, then shut it off and repeat the process throughout the night until morning?

Thank you, man - you're awesome :D
