Have a question. I have a 2010 gt with factory 19" ( 245/45/19) all around. Car is not lowered. What is the widest (staggered) and tallest tires you can put on the rear? I'm not looking to increase the wheel gap. I've looked at tires and seen some 285/45/19. I know that I need a wider rims.

I have a 2014 V6 Mustang with the stock 215/65/17 tire/wheel set up. In '13 and '14, Ford offered a Performance Package for the V6 Mustang which upgraded that to a 19"x 8.5 wheel with a 255/40/19 tire. I have bought a set of those factory wheels and currently looking for tires. The 255/40/19's that Ford used are 1 inch less in dimeter than my current 215/65/17 tires. If I use the tire size that Ford used in '14, will I have any problems other than speedometer issues? I could use a 255/45/19 tire that is practically a dead-on match size-wise to my 215/65/17 tire/wheel. Note: part of that Performance Package in 2014 was a 1" suspension drop, could that be why Ford went with a shorter tire? Any info would be appreciated.

I have 19 x 9 factory rims on my 2013 Mustang GT 302 Boss, I'd like to get tires that are about 2 inches bigger or taller, not sure if either is the correct word to use, to help take up that space between the tire the body of the car. What size do I get?
