Highly recommend this pass if you're a fellow big Boi.

Dude, you have no idea how effective this has been. It is now in my top 3 pass from closed guard.

You got some aesthetics on those quads bro!

If you don’t have strength to move their hand behind their back, you can also try pinning the hand to the mat, moving your whole body sideways (which in turn will place opponents pinned hand behind their back) and then passing their hand to your other hand

I love this pass. My coach teaches it a little different. Instead of head on the mat we base the head on their chin. It’s super uncomfortable. We also sprawl the hip down with force. A lot of times the guard breaks from the sprawl along with the discomfort of the head on the chin.

This is a personal fave. When I do it, I like to pin their hand flat to the mat, posture up, then scoot back. It turns it into like a kimura if they don’t open their guard and if they do you get a free pass

One of the best most unexpected guard passes however you MUSTTTT be strong to do this. This takes outer pec and shoulder strength

I have followed all your videos, and you instruction video’s. I have to say they’re worth it an working. Last roll I was asked to just keep it to the moves we learned in class that day🤷‍♂️🤙🏻

This was the first sequence I learned as a white belt.

I love this pass Jordan thanks so much ❤ no threat of them shifting out and having a back take because you have the arm trapped by your right arm, they can’t spin over

Learned this move in judo in japan in 2002 from a old judo master I used lots of times against bjj players it sucks to have your arm trapped underneath you great content brings back some memories

Once you trap the arm behind their back, keep positive control of that wrist and also, grab the trapped arms elbow on the opposite side with your free hand. Lower your butt to the mat and push with your hands to extend your back and body toward their feet. Theyll either let go or kimura themselves. Once they let go, make sure you flatten out on the and kick your legs out and go to side control, then mount. You could stop there but i like to keep the handcuff and get a sub. So, with the handcuff from mount i will roll over and pull them on top of me and put them in my closed guard. Then you just pull up on that trapped arm. It is easy to do in the gi, esp if you get a good grip on their sleeve.

I love this, it seems inspired by a wrestling pin. The old school way of passing is so bad and just based on who's stronger and bigger. Really cool

My go to in closed guard! It's sneaky. I initiate asap before my opponent starts anything. Works on most level.

I got this from one of my Instructors quite a while back. Nobody uses this in my gym, and I think it is a great pass since you can also force a kimura when you put your head over to the other side. Lots of control with this one! Details fade over time, but now I'm up and fresh again 😄

As a long legged closed guard user, I absolutely hate this pass.
