I Ordered an NVIDIA RTX4010 from China...

Hello everyone and welcome back to another Budget Builds Episode where we've only gone and got our hands on the RTX4010... or atleast a version apparently of it that exists only in China. Thanks to the same retailer that sourced me both the GT1010 and the GT1010 GDDR5....He's only got back to me and found the strangest (and most excting) graphics card we have had on Budget Builds to date. With retailers now making the card Nvidia was too scared to make, a entry level RTX Card.

Simply put:

It's a Nvidia A400 RTX 4GB Workstation card without packaging to avoid US enforced GPU trade sanctions.

It's a legit card assembled by PNY that you can buy right now from Amazon UK under the real name, except this one has been adapted to the Chinese business market. They simply call it the "RTX 4010" to avoid US sanctions and they'll be office resale stock from Chinese office buildings that have upgraded.

Nothing to worry about, but not a bad find and a decent little workstation card!

The 4 mini DP ports give it away as a workstation card. The big plus about this is it does not require PCIe power and is half height so can be installed in to almost anything.

You should see if this guy can get you an MTT S80. It’s apparently a domestically produced Chinese GPU. I think everyone in the channel would absolutely love a benchmark and review of this card!

I really hope this kinda card finds its way outside of China as an officially marketed product.

A tiny, $75 card with raytracing that gives better performance than the steam deck, beats the budget meta of using decade old flagships while using less power, and putting current budget options to shame? The only reason why they wouldn’t is because it’d be TOO MUCH of a good deal!

Here in Geramny the A400 is 200 € and up on Ebay. So thsi seems to be quite the bargain, after you reflash the firmware to default again.

I got one by vuying a whole box of cheap chinese hardware in a bulk combo. I faced some problems with drivers but after solving...omg was a great surprise indeed... it's now my new gpu for a "funstation" at my studio... it runs everything we tested so far, nothing toooo fancy... but oh boy... it runs things.

Seems like a laptop RTX 3050 capped at 45W, which incidentally uses the same die. Cute, for about half the price.

11:10 there is something very charming and nostalgic about seeing portal RTX on 640*480 . It's like retro gaming on a CRT . I absolutely love it.
