Another amazing creation from John Wargo and The Custom Shop. This time it's a near perfect 1,000 horsepower 1962 Corvette Roadster that competed for the Ridler Award earlier in 2014.

This car is near perfection and we got a close look - the day before SEMA started - which was a good thing, because the crowd around it was so deep all week we never could have got close enough to show you all the cool modifications.

It's a beefed-up SR3 Chassis to handle the insane horsepower put out by the 598 ci Big Block with a Vortec Supercharger. The bumpers are tucked, pinched and molded into the body. the headlights and trim have been molded into the body. The gills on the side of the car have been doubled to give it a more aggressive appearance. It has C6 Corvette door handles and a functional brake duct has been added behind the doors.

it has an original windshield, but it has been chopped three inches, making the car a full time roadster with no roof. There are no side mirrors; instead, the car features a camera on each side and a display inside the car to show what's behind on each side. The hood and trunk lid are both motorized. The rear bumper is also tucked and molded into the body, as well as painted hyper-silver with a satin clear coat. The interior even features chopped seats.

The paint is amazing. It's a 5-color color-fade, starting with Mango-Tango Copper, fading to a burnt orange at the bottom. It was then topped with a tri-coat ice pearl and finished with true-fire flames in the cove.

No doubt, John and Kevin are both Eastwood Guys. Are You an Eastwood Guy?
