Wait a min, the beatle does 12.5 on a quarter mile and a 1000hp Turbo S looses?? Stock Turbo 991.2 does avg 10.6 on a quarter. Something wrong here maybe quarter mile times.

Pra quem quiser saber a velocidade que o Fucão cruzou a linha de chegada. v=d/t -> 1/4 milha= 402 metros -> v=402/12, 5= 32, 16 m/s -> x3, 6 = 115, 78 km/h.

Something isn't right about this video the beetle beat the 1100hp porsche at 12.5 sec and the factory 640 hp porsche does it in 10.1, how can that be??

I've never seen a drag race with a tricked out bug liked that before. The tires on the bug look more expensive than the 911s. And when the bug got the hole shot off the line. The Chasey did not move it just went in a perfect straight line. I would love to see more drag races with the Blue beetle bug ❤

For years, I’ve had this idea to build a totally tricked out looking vw type 1. The idea is to convert the floor pans on either side of the dog bone into battery packs, effectively turning it into an ev skateboard platform. Motor controllers, bms, and charger would all be housed in the hump that’s hidden under the seats. The motor would be an oil cooled Remmi cartridge motor, mated to a built vw bus transmission (just because I don’t need multiple gears doesn’t mean I don’t want multiple gears) outfitted with wide ratios and a racing style clutch.
The battery pack would be 120kWhs, with a focus on power density. The body would get replaced by a completely carbon fiber replica shell. Wheels, spindles, half-shafts, breaking, etc would all be selected to minimize unsprung weight.
Its a money’s no object pipe dream of mine.
