Royal baby reveal: How the Duke and Duchess of Sussex did things differently with Baby Archie

Prince Harry and Meghan broke with royal tradition by introducing Baby Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor to the world in the Great Hall of Windsor Castle, two days after his birth.

Did you also notice that it was proud father, Harry, rather than Meghan, who was holding the baby - another royal first.

I've been following the goings on of the British Royal Family ever since Diana came onto the scene and even I have to say this "interest" in where Meghan gave birth is veering towards unhealthy obsession. Isn't it the end result of little Archie being delivered safely and Meghan not suffering from any complications the most important thing we should know about the birth?

Mountbatten-Windsor is the personal surname used by some of the male-line descendants of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Under a declaration made in Privy Council in 1960, the name _Mountbatten-Windsor_ applies to male-line descendants of the Queen without royal styles and titles. The child is heir apparent to the Dukedom of Sussex. He could have been known as Earl of Dumbarton, being entitled to use one of his father's subsidiary titles as a courtesy title.
