Breville Barista Express - Adjusting grind size

Показать описание
😢 DISAPPOINTED WITH YOUR ESPRESSO?
How to take your espresso from “meh” to “hell yeah” good? 🔥
One of the most important changes you can do to improve the espresso is to adjust the grind size in order to achieve a better extraction. Important things to consider when looking for the best grind size - your dose (how much coffee are you using?), the type of coffee beans you have (origin, processing etc.), roast level (light, medium, dark).
On Most Sage and Breville home espresso machine you can easily adjust the grind size by moving the external dial.
Super long extraction + bitter aftertaste & astringency = over extraction. How to fix it? Grind coarser. Very quick extraction + sour espresso & unpleasant aftertaste = under-extraction. What next? Grind finer and try again. You’re looking for sweetness, smoothness and a pleasant aftertaste 🙌
