When I was 13, a 15 yo girl in a summer camp, really beautiful and nice one, said something along the lines of "well, cellulite is inevitable and I'm going to have it, and that's OK". And for some reason it stuck with me and I've never cared about it since. Imagine if all of the beautiful women in media started saying this. I think our lives would be much better.

Well, i really hate it when someone says you just have to accept your cellulite. I guess this might be the case for people with little cellulite, but some of us have it really bad. I wish there was something I could do to reduce it at least 😢

I was hesitant to click on this because I thought I’d be disappointed to hear a bunch of things I already knew (I’ve had severe cellulite since I was 15!!) and I’ve researched cellulite all my life (34 now!) but you actually talked about many points I did not know! Thank you!

I've seen big women with 0 cellulite so isn't really about size but your lymphatic draining system and genetics do play a big part. I appreciate the information♡♡

I’ve had it on my thighs since I was 10 or so. I go to the gym regularly and eat mostly plant based, but it has never fully gone away. I’ve just come to accept it at 28 and bought shorts and swim suits for the first time last year.

I am 46. I have had cellulite since i was probably 11 or 12, about the time of puberty. It wasn't really bad until I was probably in my 20s. I have spent my whole adult life avoiding shorts because of it and I'm sick of it. My husband is by no means bothered by it and hates that I feel like I have to hide my legs because of it. Anyway, yesterday I just decided I have had it and bought a pair of shorts for the first time in sooo many years, and I'm going to wear them and try not to feel like I have the most disgusting looking legs on the planet! Thanks for the video--very interesting!

PS: I do agree that the media and advertising position cellulite as problematic when in fact, it is just normal for 90% of women who have it. And like you mentioned, it is not harmful, so maybe we can just care less about it. Or at least not let it consume you. I appreciate that you mentioned that a simple reframing of it in your mind can help.

This helped me! I’m an avid runner 5’4 ft tall and 127 lbs, but retain a lot of water/fluid. At 47 years old I have cellulite and I feel like I’ve failed my bod. 🙃 This helped me look at it differently - it’s just life!

I’ve just grown to accept it. Something about companies (largely run by men) manufacturing this insecurity to sell products that usually don’t even work doesn’t sit well with me.

It's sad that this is something completely normal, yet we're told to get rid of it. I just find it bizarre because I've known this is something that's aesthetically unpleasing in a lot of cultures, but I've personally never been bothered by it in anyone because it's so normal to have it 🤷🏻‍♀

Best advice regarding cellulite 👍At 63 I’m very active and fit but I’ve always had it and still do. My focus is fitness and healthy, wholesome living and feeling good while not focusing on superficial negativity ❤️😉🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟!

*THANK YOU* 🙌🏻 Currently 46 yo. At 44 I suddenly found The Mother of Cellulite Holes on my left gluteus major. I' ve been a classical ballerina all my life but I always had some🤯🤷🏻‍♀️ and all I received was quarreling.
The fact that my skin becomes thinner as I age explains the why and the where (where the isquion meets the floor trough my injured side, worst and weaker tissues) and the bilateral mastectomy I am gonna get on march explains my all time estrogenic genetic disorder. *ENDLESS GRATITUDE* Andrea🙏🏻. Nobody has never explained why a 45 kgs sylphide had cellu. Yelling me was "the therapy". The most priceless 11 minutes ever 🧛🏻‍♀️🖤🖤🖤👸🏻🧑🏼‍🦳🐕

I have noticed that, when I spend several weeks doing vigorous gymnastic as part of my routine; and taking long, deep breaths while exercising, my cellulite seems to disappear. So I have so much faith in my pilates/gymnastics routine.

The fact that we are getting this information for free...you are a Godsend. I started my tretinoin and SPF journey because of you about a year ago. Not looking back and NOT going outside without my sunscreen (have you tried Eucerin's new actinic SPF100 fluid?) hahaha. I have cellulite on my stomach (and am a guy) so it's going to be interesting to see how that plays out once I lose weight again. I have always oscillated about 20-25Kgs in weight due to many reasons so having you provide this information is such a good starting point. I hope you realise how you impact people's lives, ALL OVER THE WORLD. CRAZY. LOVE YOU. Love from Sydney and Europe <3

I have cellulite and grew up without social media and I HATE it. My grandma used to tell me I could break it up using a rolling pin. Years later that still doesn’t work. If you have a lot, then you know how much it wreaks havoc on your self esteem. I hope they find something that works because I hate thinking of my daughter feeling the same way. It’s definitely part of my genes.

Totally agree! In my own experience lifting weights and eating clean was the solution to my cellulite. I noticed it became crazy during pregnancy and when my diet was rich in sugars and not clean. Now leaning towards plant based. I truly believe that exercise is probably the best solution, again, no magic! But it works!
Thank you for the video! Loved it!

Love these educational videos! My way of dealing with my cellulite is to slap some self tanner on my legs. It really makes things look much better. I am a perfect weight. exercise, eat mostly a Mediterranean diet with very few processed foods, and drink lots of water, but still have it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I did cupping everyday for 8 weeks and mine is gone! I had it all over my legs, banana Rolls under The Butt, calves and little on arms. I ate gluten free, Vegan, no sugar & alcohol.(I have done that for years and still had cellulite, just saying cause dairy products, sugar alcohol, gluten Can cause irritation in the body/skin)
I exercise 4 times a week and it also helped my soreness cupping afterwards 😆
It hurts A LOT in The beginning, but in The end it’s totally worth it.

Excellent video. This is so helpful and educational. For a woman who has had it since I was a teen and all the women in my family have had it, I struggled with it and worried about it far too long. All that was unproductive to say the least. I am fit and only eat healthy food. A while back, decided to accept and appreciate myself as is. I have a much younger partner who loves me and my body and has never criticized me in any way. Why would I do it to myself! My body is priceless, as is my health and a wonderful man who adores me and finds me beautiful as I am.
