Take Two has CONFIRMED that GTA 6 Will be coming later than exspected.

October release again? possibly November. Halloween? thanksgiving black Friday sale? as far as people saying they don't want R* to rush the game? 10 years was plenty of time. lets hope that the online version comes 1 year after the game release. the online version will take plenty of time to make. i just want to enjoy the game without online for a less.

It was never delayed. Rockstar never said "Spring 2025", the trailer only said coming in 2025". And the fiscal earnings "PREDICTION" chart never said they planned on releasing GTA 6 in spring 2025, just that they expected an influx of profit during that period which could easily just be considering all the hyped fans pre-ordering in spring 2025. Everyone chose to read into the predictions what they wanted to see. I've said since mid 2020, it'd release between September and December 2025, and everything else I've predicted along the way has lined up too. It doesn't make sense to launch a big ticket title after Christmas and New Years when most people's big spending sprees are over. There's more opportunity for profits and to sell special editions, collectors editions, merch, etc if they do it just before Black Friday when people begin Holiday shopping, or even a couple months sooner. Gamers need to look at it from the perspective of a business instead of what they want it to be. As soon as I heard "Fall 2025" today, I immediately thought "right on target."

I’d push back on this publicly and officially being any sort of delay. Publicly it’s always been 2025 since the release of the trailer in December and all Take Two have done is firm up that window to a seasonal timeframe in the same year. Any inference that was drawn for it to be earlier than this is pure speculation at best.

I'm going to guess it's going to be at least 2026, and it will be filled with hackers and modders as soon as the game drops in maybe december 2026. It's now a woke game, so you can forget about anything that might require a trigger warning.
