Back when Obama was running my father kept voting for republicans. One day I told him I said do you hate me Dad, he said of course not that's ridiculous. I said but you keep voting for people who do hate me and who want to turn me into a second class citizen, at what point do you recognize that you are hurting my life and my opportunities by voting for people whose goal is to do just that. That was the last time he voted for a Republican at the federal and state level

And as a PS my father was a highly decorated colonel from the Army. If they had had any positions open he would have been a general. And yes he was like living with General Patton

My little sister’s first pregnancy became a miscarriage that required a DNC to stop the bleeding and save her life. It greatly distressed her and her husband, and years later they have two healthy children. This story could easily have been my sister’s…..who got the procedure she needed because Roe was still settled law! Vote blue!
