If you're an avid bowling fan, I'm sure you know the "picket fence" is the 1-2-4-7 for righties or the 1-3-6-10 for lefties. And last time I checked, that isn't a split.

The bowling clue is wrong and misleading. A "picket fence" in bowling is not a split. It is the 1-2-4-7 or 1-3-6-10. (also called a clothesline).
