"I sneak away from the party."
"Roll Stealth."
"23"
"You successfully leave the party without anyone noticing. Make a new character."

It was all a part of the DM's master plan to get someone else to finally take over as DM, knowing the rogue wouldn't be able to resist stealing his power 😂

Two Jacobs in the same shot feels so natural somehow

I love how the stereotype for rogues (a class that actively gains benefits for working with a group) is sneaking away from the group

Couldn't help but laugh as he starts to take the DM board over

All of these rogue videos are just Jacob's special way of saying "As a DM you can say no"

DM: You made orphans!
Rogue: That just means that there will be more rogues in the
I about spit my coffee out at that line lol.

"I feel like I could've done more to prevent this." Indeed, my greatest lesson as a DM, the ability to say no and communicate the expectations before and/or after session

DM: what class you playing?

The amount of hairstyling that must have gone into the editing never fails to impress me.

We had a player who did exactly this.

30 minutes watching them MGS their way through the same dungeon we were going to explore our way through anyway. Never told us where he was going. Was a lot of fun just being sat there.

Fun Fact: You can buy 100 candles for 1 gold piece and they weigh nothing. Every time your DM asks what your character is doing you can just say "I light 17 candles" and if anyone complains you aren't contributing you can say that you're very clearly doing the most to add ambiance out of anyone.

"Corvo Auditore" is not something I was expecting to hear today, but I'm glad I did in this context

Bad Rogues: A Kleptomaniac who is a murder Hobo

Good Rogues: A Friendly guy who somehow made even the Paladin question his own action towards perfecting his oaths

The best DM move to counter "Ok, so we get some hirelings and make them do all the work while we sit around and rule the world" is to reply "Cool. Hand over your character sheets. You are now playing as hirelings working for your horrible ex-adventurer bosses."

So basically DM is like the final form for a rogue. Learn something new every day

"We want to play the game too!"
I felt that in my *soul*. Forever DM in a party with others, one of the only always players made a flying Rogue who will unironically scout and kill everything in the dungeon before any of us can even ask to make a check. At one point I got tired and literally sat in a corner to play Humans and Households because I had rolled once in a 4 hour session and said less than 2 sentences because any time I tried to do anything he took it over.

"Corvo Auditore" is possibly the most anticipated crossover in history and the reason for my side now being in crippling pain from laughter.

Hahahahaha the subtle reach for the DM screen, followed by hijacking the entire game. We’ve all seen this played out one way or another.
