Respect my guy. Your translation was actually top notch for all listeners. We speak French and creole. This landed well my guy.

Attempting to do what he did in French, in English, is actually really really hard. I think this was a very solid attempt. Very very decent.

This is the best translation I've seen of this song so far. Of course it's not a direct translation, but it's never going to be one and fit with the song properly.
People who are complaining about it not being a perfectly accurate translation don't understand that when you're translating music, or poetry in general, what you're really translating is *vibes* and *theme*. It's never going to be a direct translation, because if it was, it wouldn't flow properly. This even applies to literature to a certain extent. Almost all the famous quotes from novels which were originally not in English, (think Lolita, Crime and Punishment, or Don Quixote) are anywhere between somewhat different to very different in their original language. One of the first things I learned when studying Ancient Grecian literature, especially that of the Archaic period, is how much small details have been changed between translations to keep with the flow of the writing so it has a similar structure across languages.

You're doing translation of music and poetry correctly. You're keeping the same general meaning, the themes, and the vibes as close as possible, without losing the artistic value, the flow of the song, or the pieces of variance to the singing which give the original it's interest.

I see so many English translations but this one actually encapsulates the vocals
You didn’t directly translate it and called it a day but you actually made it make sense and sound good
Magnificent job

Although this is not a direct translation, it feels right as a artistic interpretation and still carries the message

I like how he didnt pick up his room first or even really try to highlight himself. He just did that and was out... 💕

I think this is the best English trañslation considering that Yamê is using slang and you had to slang it out too. This is a solid one for the streets boy! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

The lyrics are ass but the musicality is world class. It's one of the most unique sounding songs I've heard in a while. Love the song and look forward to seeing what the guy makes in the future
