Dune Advanced Rules: How to Play and Tips

In this week's Games Made Easy video you will learn how to play the Advanced Rules of Dune by Gale Force 9 better, quickly and easily too.

The advanced rules of Dune make this game even more competitive. I really like Dune with 5 or 6 players when we can play all factions.

These advanced rules make the factions even more different from one another which is really cool. Each faction gets their full power and what makes them special. Although there’s more spice, it makes the battles even more brutal than the basic game. It’s well worth learning to play at this level.

Tabletop games are really fun, but learning the complicated directions and rules can be a challenge. Lavinia and Peter explain the rules quickly and easily while giving you all the tips you need to win faster.

I think you might have the spice blow phase a bit wrong. You draw for pile "A" if you draw a SH card, yes you remove troops and spice from the territory, you then draw again for pile "A", if another SH, then Fremen decide where worm appears, draw again for pile "A" till a territory card is drawn, then proceed to pile "B" and repeat the process. I hope that makes sense and thanks for the video.

I think you should cover Dune: Imperium! That's a great game and I think you'd love it!

Do you find the paying spice in battle for your forces a little confusing/too mathy? Or is it just me? Would leaving that out unbalance the game?
