`Dinner for One'',  a British comedy sketch recorded and aired for German television in 1963. Since 1972, the sketch has aired every New Year's Eve and become a popular viewing tradition in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Estonia.

Fun Fact: There are two official versions of Dinner for One, the German version, which is longer and has more jokes, and the Swiss version, which is shorter, but has more camera angles, was filmed on a different set and is sadly the only one really available on YouTube. (Edit: The German version is unavailable on YouTube in Germany due to copyright regulations.)
