Russia promises to withdraw troops from Kyiv and north Ukraine

The Russia-Ukraine conflict is finally showing promising signs of de-escalation, after Russia indicated it would “drastically reduce combat operations” around Ukraine’s north and the capital, Kyiv.

However, the General Staff of Ukraine’s Armed Forces says they believe the Russians’ pledge is designed to mislead Ukrainian forces.

What a load of crap. The operation around Ukraine’s north and the capital, Kyiv. Were only ever a diversion & a tactic to tie up sections of the Ukraine forces, to keep them away from the true battles which were always in the Donbas. These battels are almost over, so Ukraine has had to come up with proposals acceptable to Russia for the talks in Turkey. Ukraine has been divided since 2014, look up the UN Minsk 11 protocols.
