How do you connect without CarPlay?? I try via Bluetooth and it automatically connects CarPlay. Then I can’t use the Google maps on my phone rather than having to sign up for a data plan. USB connection doesn’t work either

This comment needs to be forwarded to GMC. I made a comment before about this, so this is the last one. We bought a GMC Sierra. It's a small model, it was silver, had a back cover made of black pleather, came with a small fuzzy reverse camera, ect. So, I was going through water and a small stick went in the grill. That's what the garage has told us. The small stick got caught in some gear, broke some seals, and caused some extensive water damage. That's what killed our power steering while I was coming off the beach.

When did the stick go in? Who knows. How big was it? Likely not very big. So here's the problem, what if it went in three-four days earlier? This is NOT an acceptable issue. In the past you could check power steering fluid, but now a 0 cent stick can take it out. What if I was on a highway, and hit a semi, because I lost my steering? Negligence is a crime in this country. This could be fixed with a simple mesh in the grill. As soon as I get the VIN I'm reporting this to Canada.

I'd hate to be the poor guy coming out of a trail onto the highway that doesn't know this.

Bill $5000. Risk, death.
