Spinning Flax from Celtic Juju

Just sort of a simple intro into my flax spinning. I will likely do more videos on spinning flax, explaining how to if there is interest.

Fine flax comes from growing dense and harvesting just after the flowers but before the seed pods. If you want seed you will need to let an area go to full seed. That fiber is good for rope or cordage and knitting. Coarse fiber will get softer after use. Good for towels too. The fine fiber is good for weaving. I purchased some fine fiber and grew my own that is on par with the super high quality flax grown 100 years ago. Im getting ready now to plant my crop for a summer harvest. Im planting half for fiber the other will be allowed to go to full seed.
