I have watched a LOT of french drain, dry creek bed, rain garden videos. Yours by far are the best. Plan to do what you said here and topping with river rock and side plantings....aka dry creek bed french drain combo. Looking at ordering your supplies. Should I be using your super strong perforated piping or a solid pipe due to weight of river rock and lots of tree roots that will grow back. I am 70 yr old female but pretty strong and hired someone to do majority of digging. 2 50 ft runs. Using gravity. On a slope. Any suggestions on particular videos?

How do you top it, if you dont put any soil back on top? Just more stone?

Is 2” river jack too large for covering over the corrugated pipe or does it have to be 1 1/2”?
