I really enjoyed Puerto Vallarta, staying with a Canadian friend who has a condo there. I highly recommend the Botanical Garden, a short taxi/bus ride away from the city. It is the most amazing garden I have ever visited! You can even swim there and eat in the awesome restaurant, and if you’re a birder, it’s unparalleled.

Peruto Vallarta is ok to visit although anything longer than two weeks will be a bit longer than I would stay as it isn't what it used to be as tourists have a way of changing things and not all of them are good. Prices have really moved upwards and it does have issues that are not all good. Locals don't live like the tourists do and the real estate market is great for those selling it.

I do hope that you begin to take into consideration the impact that newcomers will have on the environment, as well as to discuss some of the pollution that is considered " normal" in Mexican coastal towns. (Raw sewage dumped into the ocean and industrial pollution in its rivers)

Know Salt waves cure all my joints, muscles, spirit, heart & soul. Excited about possibility of a place to rent for $500 / month &:still have $ to eat out too. 🎉❤

I always enjoy visiting the local butcher shops, because I love to buy something to feed the dogs - it's economical and the dogs love some fresh meat. Moreover, the local shops are all very helpful and economical. Very convenient!!!
