These young Turks are not dumb. If only they wouldn't be ao stubborn and so sruck in a priori ideas... The old man came there willing to talk in a civilized maner, recognizing that the other side could have valid points and counter arguments. All this clueless girl had was an hostile ariture, trying to make fun of hwr oponent and almost zero valid points. She had no interest whatsoever in finding any point of agreement. Posed him questions, and wanted to answer heraelf and move on to the next point. Embarrassing. A waste of otherwise smart people.

I follow and like Ana a lot, but this was not her best interview. She was rude and hostile, she asked questions just to interrupt and talk over him. Meanwhile he remained calm and mature and patient and left emotions out. Keep this energy for Ann Coulter, not for this guy, he made you look childish. Furthermore your argument about aspirations in a college classroom should have been: "It might be looked down on at a college course if you say your aspiration is to become a housewife because college is attended with the intention of getting a career. Housewives that dont want a career wouldnt be attending college" Ta-da!

How the left debate on cultural issues (trans, bathrooms etc)
1..call opposition all the usual names, bigot fascist etc
2. Claim that the issue they proposed and are passionate about is no longer relevant when pressed back on with comments like “this is such a minor issue” “why are YOU focusing on this” “ooh their are really more interesting things to talk about”
