The reality of metal detecting in Scotland! I almost didn’t post this.

You can’t win them all!

With great highs come the lows…. But detecting is about putting in the hours and for every bad find remember it increases the chance of a good one!!

I thought it was important to show don’t give up, we all have bad days!!

I am most pleased that you posted this video as it lends real credibility to your detecting adventures. Folks out there need to understand that a lot of detecting time goes into finding real treasures on a regular basis. Keeping it real and honest. Where I live we will never find things older than mid 1800's. So what we call good finds is always in the eye of the beholder. I like watching diggers who do find very old items. Always appreciate what you can get. Thank you for saving finds and showing them to those of us who are not able to see them otherwise.
