SpaceX's sixth flight of Starship is soon! What's left to do? The next Starship to fly appears to be missing some tiles, but why? We have a flight 6 launch date! A new inside look into the Fish and Wildlife Service reveals something surprising about where they get their information from, and it's not what you'd expect. And Falcon 9 breaks even more records, while Starship is more and more heavily copied internationally!

Did you expect SpaceX to be that quick with Flight 6? Let's get the hype train going! Starship is launching again!

If Spacex meets the expected launch date, flight 6 will launch exactly 1 year after flight 2! It is crazy To see How far It has come over such a short time.

The bending was nothing like how much it bent when they had it weighted down with those test bags of water. The arms were 10X more deflected than the booster catch.

24 years in space for the ISS. Great accomplishment in itself. Great job WAI team for keeping us informed.

The preparations for Starship’s upcoming launch are truly a testament to the meticulous work that goes into every detail, from heat shields to government coordination. Watching these challenges unfold and seeing innovative solutions emerge makes every launch that much more exciting!

WOW. SpaceX is sensational. They really have a grip on how to get out there & back ready to go again. Well done. So smart.

1:25 Elastic deformation and plastic deformation are two different things. Most steel is surprisingly elastic compared to e.g cast iron. Bending not always equals breaking. Are the chopsticks still crooked?

14:38 Read the entire letter. This isn't a matter of bad communication on anyone's part. They're saying their agency is so underfunded that they can't afford the sound sensors that they need in order to do their job and give SpaceX the approval. They can't just give approval, they have a job to do, so they're hoping that either SpaceX can get the data for them, or (even more desperate) have SpaceX loan out the very equipment that the agency will be evaluating them with. Meanwhile, all we hear from the news is that the agency is so bloated and inefficient that it needs even more funding cut!

I rolled the dice and I have secured a spot on Padre…last test I witnessed was the first tethered hop of StarHopper in 2019.

Everytime Felix uploads I just stop with whatever i’m doing and watch the video. I mean, I was doing CPR about 30 seconds ago.
But that’ll have to wait

SpaceX keep on ‘tweeting’ the Quick Disconnect, to make it survive the launch more reliably. In some cases this needs more shielding in selected areas, as hoses keep on getting damaged by the launch / landing process (mostly launch I would suspect)

All this data is being used to inform the design of the new launch platform.
