Great place! Nice Fellow. House has a bit of a boat-like feeling inside. Very cool.
One change I would make if building from scratch would be to move the toilet out of view from the bathroom doorway. If no other placement option, turn it 90° to back to the right wall and put up a pony wall (1/2 wall) so you don't see the commode when the door is open but the window will still be visible. 👍

I'm very surprised he said he was 60. I had estimated him to be maybe 50. I guess he takes care of himself and is happy. Love his house. I have lived in my house 37 years and all the stuff I have is depressing. I envy him. I wonder if I could do that. And where would I put my many shoes! Oh my !
