I am confused about alternating current, since neutral is supposed to be negative neutral goes to ground in the ground at the pole ! How does it alternate back up the neutral wire to the load, since every one is saying electricity flows from negative to positive! But at the pole box i get shocked when i touch the positive terminal but not the negative terminal! (Confused)

Is this a proven fact or is this a working theory? Is electric current an actual flow of electrons or is it a difference in potential? What are electrons comprised of? Aren't they just potential? How could a "potential" flow?

sorry man, I'm sure thats how it was explained to you at some point, but there is almost no movement of electrons in the wire, certainly nothing you could call a flow. The energy is carried in the electrical field that surrounds the conductor.

I disagree with your talking. All electricity starts as alternating current. We use devices to change alternating current to dc current. In al vehicles we use a type of rectifying bridges. Even in very large vehicles we use devices to change alternate current to dc current. I have worked on cars and mid sized vehicles for most of my career. I have worked on bulldozers, front end loaders, and excavators that used different devices to change to dc current.
