Nintendo executives are probably laughing their way to the bank about this. If anything, Microsoft should be groveling for even a collab deal with Nintendo.

I don't know why people are so worried about this. Even though Microsoft is a powerful company on its own, it's gaming division has been falling apart. No way Nintendo would sell to them! There's also the issue of preventing a monopoly in the industry.

There is no way they'd be allowed to buy Nintendo. Doing so would put two-thirds of the console market under one company. US Anti-trust laws would not allow that.
