Nintendo being over 140 years old and being a family owned Japanese company is not likely sell to an American company! Let alone an American company as green as Microsoft… I'd be more likely to believe that IBM would have a greater chance of buying Nintendo because they're older as well! But Microsoft? Not a chance in hell!

What I’m curious about with this situation, is if it would damage the relationship Microsoft has built with Nintendo over the years? We have seen games that Microsoft owns like Goldeneye, Cuphead, and Banjo Kazooie make its way over to the Switch. As well as Banjo and Minecraft Steve appearing in Smash Bros. Do you think Nintendo would find these emails insulting in a way and cut ties? Very interesting stuff.

I just can't imagine it actually happening, or it being a good thing if it did happen. MS seems to not care about re-inventing the wheel with each new console (maybe that's why they're in a distant third place now, because they don't do anything to make Xbox stand out), while Nintendo tries to be different from the others (which is both good and bad). If this happened, Nintendo would have to conform to making their games work on a standard controller from the beginning, and not one of their own goofy controllers (Joy-Cons, GamePad, Wii Remote, etc), so that could be interesting.

Nintendo has its own flaws as a company but i still hope they dont get bought up. It can only get worse.
