Twitter owner Elon Musk hasn't directly tweeted about the possibility of a lawsuit, but he has replied to several snarky takes on the Threads launch.

Elon is single-handedly responsible for the entire situation.

He took a company he forced himself to pay tens of billions of dollars for, committing to the price before getting a sensible valuation.. then committing himself to loans up to the neck.

Then he fired the people with the comment :
"I would like to apologize for firing these geniuses. Their immense talent will no doubt be of great use elsewhere."

Sorry, as the primary agent for the company, that's literal permission to go out and use their talents and knowledge wherever.

No court will issue anything resembling a favorable verdict to Musk in this situation.

It's like a man that tears down his house, sells the wood, then complains that other houses are being built with that same wood he sold!
