January 15th is Dr King's birthday and I think it's a good opportunity to tell you that the Dr King the white media presented to you for 50 years wasn't the real Dr King. There was a reason the government wanted him dead. And why we should remember him.

When he talked about the dream, he met resistance. When he talked about economic equality he met his fate. The closer you get to the root of a problem the more dangerous the resistance is. Thank you PBT for this well crafted lecture. I’m a gen X’er who was taught Dr. King was docile. I knew in his later years he talked about economic equality but I knew nothing of the jail letter or the 3 evils speech. If you’ll excuse me, I’ve got homework to do.
