This is a very special day for me, because one of the two main characters of a story that I'm writing, was born on this day. 🤗
I love summer solstice. ❤️

This is the real Christmas.
The light of the world begins its return to glory (in the northern hemisphere) and brings new life to the world.

A solstice is the same as the story of Christ being crucified and resurrected 3 days and nights later.

Where I live we are in the darkest period right now. We have 19, 5 hours less sunlight per day compared to the brightest day in the summer. Sun goes up 9.50, and sets at 13.15 in the afternoon. Really depressing in the winter, but the summers makes up for everything. The sun never sets in the summer :)

Without the incessant music I’m not sure I would have fully understood the explanation..

In the Jalali calendar which is used in Iran, summer and winter solstices correspond exactly with the start of summer and winter.
