Okay I have a newbie question that I can't find the answer to anywhere.

Let's say I want to replace a 4-Digit hex code with one that is 6 digits. Do I go to digits before what I'm replacing and start there or do I add two digits after the 4-Digit that I'm trying to replace?

7e1. I jjust wanna say ur a life saver ill use 7e1. 7 ×1 is 7 e×16 is 224 1×256 is 256 so 7e1 is 1824.
