I'm a big fan of Titanium smartphones, its a super cool metal. And I'm glad to see that both Samsung, and Apple are using the real stuff. Even if it is different grades of the Titanium material.

Samsung is using Grade 2 Titanium, and Apple is using Grade 5 Titanium.

I was actually pretty surprised that Samsung used less money for their titanium. I guess Samsung is getting more and more like Apple every day though so I'm not as shocked.

It's incredible to see the amount of technology that gets packed into these devices, and how each company approaches the build differently.

Always happy to help! Anyone who wants to win the S24 Ultra aluminum disk, you'll want to watch out for my next video! And I'll make a post in my community tab with details.

Grade 2 is all titanium. Grade 5 is an alloy that also includes aluminum and vanadium (6% aluminum and 4% vanadium, which is why it's also referred to as Ti 6Al-4V). Grade 5 is harder; expect to see Grade 5 in higher-end manufacturing, while lower-priced options might use Grade 2.

Watching this on my 24 ultra feels wrong. It feels like I'm making my phone show me an autopsy and mutilation of it's family member lol

“Deeper grooves at level 8, ” that should go as an Easter egg for your 24 Ultra skins and cases.

Edit: wow 5.1K, thanks guys.

Great to see you using our Vanta for titanium analysis and grade identification! 😍

This feels like golf clubs from the early 2000's. Titanium! $500 dollar Titanium club that people didn't realize only had 5 grams of Titanium in the head, but at least it had 10 grams of paint spelling out Titanium on the shaft.

7:31 always good to see Nate, I've missed him and Calli. Wish they didn't have to leave TKOR (which I never watch anymore) but I still try to keep up with their channels and stuff they do. They're some of my fav people

I still feel like plastic between the titanium and aluminum might help with shock absorption in case of a drop.

Interesting how I watch this amazing vídeo with fire, pull tabs, titanium and everything but what catches my attention is "the upper stereo speaker does not have balls"
