In back, the sides on S24U are now flat instead of curved as well. That is another way to distinguish between the two.

I had the blue S23 Ultra. Loved the look of it. I went with the violet this time. I'm not a fan of the darker metal they went with on the blue model this year, would very much have preferred they stick to the lighter, natural color of the metal.

Usually not a big fan of blue, but they really nailed this for the S24U and the black sides/camera array.
