One evening Yellowman stopped in crossroad in Kingston and was talking to some school children, I don't know what he was telling them but the crowd grew so large that the police had to come and tell him to go over a parking lot so the traffic could flow, Yellowman is the true king of dancehall

I remember seeing yellow man in 1983 by Aquarius studio in Kingston and I tell you should have seen the crowd of people around him. True legend he’s in a class by himself. Living in America he was one of the first dancehall artist that they embrace. Teach dem I appreciate your work.

I rate Yelowman to the ground. He deserves his flowers. He has made great contributions to dancehall community and inspite of his many set backs and adversities he has stood by the grace of God. I only wish he would honour God for the reason why he is still alive and was able to push pass everything. It is only the grace of God and no one or nothing else.
