Reminder you need a facebook account for the oculus 2 and they have algorithms that ban fake accounts

This is basically how cpu and gpu work in gaming:
Cpu: hey GPU the square here is at position -1 now, could you draw that on the screen 60 times in one second/120/144 times/240/
GPU: sure thing bud

Was it Facebook’s recommendation that 8 core 10 core is “probably “ a good bet? I see how that would push people to rather buy an all-in-one vr headset like the quest

TLDR: Get a CPU from within the last 5 years. CPU is waaaay less important than GPU, but it needs to be relatively recent.

Edit: If it can run Minecraft, it can run VR. Seriously. It’s not any more hard on the CPU than any other normal game, in most cases. Obviously some VR games do lots of physics, so newer is better, but it’s a very low bar to beat.

The OQ2 is honestly a good platform for people who wanna start in VR. Had mine for about 2 weeks now & its amazing, highly recommend
