The DW made a major misstep by having Reagan fill in for Brett. Instead of giving Reagan her own show and allowing her to develop her own unique style, they tried to replicate Brett, even down to her mannerisms and speech patterns. This approach makes Reagan come across as inauthentic. As a viewer, I would have been open to seeing Reagan in something fresh and original, but now it feels like DW is just desperately clinging to a formula.
