This whole movement is actually viewed as some sort of moral movement (these soldiers and the movement against the government who want hostages returned).

However, in reality, these people never call for a permanent end to the war, equal rights for Palestinians, a Palestinian state etc. They just want the hostages back and ceasefire to get the hostages back. After the hostages are returned, it seems they would not oppose a continued war against Hamas and Hezbollah including a genocidal carnage against innocent civilians.

So until this movement calls for a permanent ceasefire, a prisoner exchange, freedom for Palestinians, and a free Palestinian state who cares about these inter-Israeli issue.
