There’s a theory I have regarding David. Throughout the game we see David setting up surveillance equipment at home and petitioning to put them around the school as well as doing some sleuthing. While he doesn’t reveal out loud why he’s doing this, I think it’s because he does believe Chloe when she says Rachel is missing and he’s doing all of this to find her and build/mend his relationship with Chloe.

The most shocking one for me is in the last episode when you go through every important places, in jefferson’s classroom the pictures have changed, the models on magazine cover taken by jefferons have been replaced by max and the worst one is the picture in the forest on which you could see Chloe and Max digging and finding Rachel’s corpse

I never knew about Warren looking into Max's window. That is really creepy 😅

The thing I noticed that was weird and didn't add up in this game when I played it was the meeting place Chloe and Nathan set up to do their deal. Of all the places in Arcadia Bay they could have met they chose Blackwell Academy the school that expelled Chloe so is one of the only places in the town that she can't really go, and it would raise suspicions if she is seen there. On top of that, in the only building where Chloe can't be seen they pick the girls toilet the only room in Blackwell that Nathan can't really go and would raise suspicions if he is seen there. They also held the meeting directy after a class when the Toilet is most likly to be visited by the most people. Not the best place or time for shadey deals to be going down lol. lucky for them the only people in there was Max and a butterfly that was just trying to use the toilet when Max brust in and started taking pictures of them.

Some of my favorite details are in Max's journal. During episode 4 when you're at Chloe's house when she's paralyzed, if you check the journal you see Max barely updates it because of her new friends and the vortex club. Also during the nightmare sequence there's mulitple points of horrohish writing.

warren's locker shows up in the nightmare sequence, which, like you said prior, was not based on reality and was meant to show her doubts, fears and insecurities. the "MAX" file on the drive was meant for max, and contains whatever it was that max was borrowing it for. warren's silhouette peeking behind the corner, albeit VERY incredibly creepy, in the context of him waiting for her to wake up so he could ask her out, did not make it seem stalkerish to me. even though he had a huge crush on max, i don't think he was a stalker, just a basic teenager (he's 18 idk if thats still a teenager but. he's a youngster) with a crush that was making him anxious. AND since the nightmares sequence was a reflection on max's real life, i think it's possible that she felt like warren would go as far as have suggestive photos of her, despite warren never showing such signs in the game

In episode 3 when you meet chloe on the main campus before going in the principal office if you talked about kate, say of course and stay hiiden or took the blame in the first episode she say "At least David doesn't try to beat down women like Nathan..." contrary to if she get hit, she will say "The Blackwell security officer even hits his own stepdaughter..." which suggest that it may be a first when we see it happen.

We all hated David at some point, but (spoiler) he believed Chloe about Rachel right away and because of his investigations we were able to track down Nathan, at the end he even [1) killed Jefferson with no hesitation 2) was happy she was medicating], he's just a tough army guy who doesn't know how to express his love.

It's hard to trust the "Warren being a stalker" in the nightmare sequence since well... it's a nightmare sequence.

I honestly hate that they added David hitting Chloe, i reslly dont think thats in character for him. I understand him being angry with her, hes a war veteran and is clearly tired of fighting. He just wants a peaceful life with his wife and stepdaughter but Chloe constantly antagonizes him. Not that im blaming Chloe either, i understand where shes coming from. She felt so abandoned when her dad died and max left then she loses rachel. Then joyce marries another man who chloe sees as a "replacement " for her father. Which is all very hard for someone so young. And not that im defending David, there are better ways to go about things than he does. But he worked for security i believe and most likely struggles with ptsd. All he wants to do is make sure everyone is safe, especially his family. Hes clearly a good man, he was the first to go after Kate on the roof and clearly felt so defeated when he just fell into joyces arms after her suicide attempt. And the way he reacted after max tells him Jefferson killed Chloe. Hes a good man, and Chloe is a good woman, theyre both just broken people. And i am so glad that if you choose to save Chloe in the end, you see in Life is Strange 2 that Chloe and David are finally close and see each other as Dad and daughter. Its very heartwarming. Sorry i kinda rambled on lol, i just feel so passionate about this game and David and Chloes relationship.

I'd like to make a correction on what you say at 1:50, this isnt the only time we see david be "actually" abusive to chloe, it's the only time we see him be *Physically* abusive, every interaction they have is verbally abusive

I feel like it would've been way more dramatic if they revealed Warren as a lackie for Jefferson. Along with using Nathan, it would've helped build more of Jefferson's manipulation in having Warren believe that he can finally obtain Max as he desired.

Or even better, Max barely fits the pieces together but figured out that Warren was purposefully manipulating the scenes in the background without Max figuring it out with her time powers.
