If you pause the game when in those meetings with the fortune teller, you can move her face around and in the iris of her eyes you can see glimpses of fire.

When you’re exploring the General Store as Emma, you can find a box with a clown mask and a fake spider to scare Jacob with. Emma says, “hello old friends!”. I think it’s a reference to Until Dawn’s character, The Psycho!

Everyone always forgets the Easter Eggs right at the start where the couple are going down into the bunker and the guy mentions the Evil Dead series, which Ted Raimi, the cop following them, starred in and his brother, Sam Raimi, created and directed.

I think you missed one. After Dylan saves Kaitlyn in the scrapyard, he says "I wonder who they'll choose." This is most likely a subtle fourth wall break referencing the player (and probably whether they want Dylan or Kaitlyn to get together with Ryan). You also missed the reference Kaitlyn makes to Until Dawn, when she tells Dylan that her ideal vacation would be in a ski lodge in the mountains.

8:04 Edward Benson is the bloated corpse in the lake. If Jacob finds his body in the lake, then in the epilogue Grace will said that he was the lost hiker

It wasn't Chris who attacked Nick in the woods tho. Chris was chained up in his family house already and also game says this at the end: "Nick survived the night and when Laura killed Silas, Nick's werewolf curse was lifted" so he was definitely attacked and bitten by Silas in that scene

After falling through the ground, if Ryan chooses to go with Laura, when they are trying to break pieces of wood to get in, Ryan comments on how strong Laura is by referencing the word 'spinach'. I don't remember the exact quote but this is an obvious reference to Popeye, the buff sailor who ate spinach.

I loved the multiplayer mode made the whole game a lot more chaotic

So Chris is chained up for the full moon, but Kaylee and Caleb for some reason aren't caged for the full moon because they attack the campers. Which is strange if this has been happening for 6 years you'd think they'd be ready for the full moon and cage themselves, which is why the electrified cages were built in the Hackett House, to contain them. Also someone else commented about what did the campers do when there was a full moon during the two months they were at camp. Which is such a great point, as we know Laura and Max were locked up in the prison for two months that the camp was on, and during the prison chapter with Laura, Max changes to a werewolf and Laura loses her eye. So that proves that there was a full moon during the summer camp. Its a great game but it definitely has a lot of plot holes. But perhaps the problem is we shouldn't use logic for these kind things and just go with it 🤣

I believe Laura's eye injury is also a nod to Silver Bullet, a werewolf movie (& book by Stephen King). The werewolf in that movie is the local Reverend whose left eye gets taken out by a firework used by the main character. That could even be a nod to the option to keep the fireworks Emma finds too, who knows

I love trivia videos like this!

However, when it comes to the boathouse ledger, I'm still not entirely sure what it refers to, but I don't believe it refers to people who have turned into werewolves. I think it probably just refers to people who fell victim to and were killed by the werewolves and the Hacketts have had to cover up their disappearances.
My main reasoning for this is because the Harum Scarum fire happened in 2015, so Silas was a werewolf long before then and Caleb must have become a werewolf in 2015, so the ledger can't be referring to either of them since the first date on it is in 2016.

What I was able to dig up is as follows:

• Present day takes place on August 22-23, 2021

• The Harum Scarum fire is referenced many times to have occurred 6 years ago, making that event take place in 2015

• Trail Cam Footage evidence
"Archived trail cam footage from Hackett Woods, dating back 6 years."

• Freak Show Goes Up in Flames
Newspaper headline for the Harum Scarum fire dated August 15, 2015
• Harum Scarum ticket stub - October 27th 2015
Note: Obviously there is a discrepancy between these two pieces of evidence about what the actual month that event took place on, but 2015 is consistent.

• Boathouse ledger
1 12/03/2016
2 24/09/2017
3 03/11/2019
5 29/01/2021*

- Manageable but unsustainable

• North Kill Gazette
Newspaper about the missing hikers. States that after 4 months, the hikers are still missing. The paper is dated April 26th 2021, so 4 months before that would have been late December 2020 or early January 2021.
*This could be what "5 29/01/2021" refers to in the boathouse ledger, although that date is for late January, which would more accurately be 3 months, but it's possible that they could have just rounded up. And it may also be why the numbers to the left of the dates jump from 3 to 5, because there were two hikers.
- Jacob can find evidence of one of the dead hiker's bloated corpse (most likely Edward Benson) in the lake.
- Additionally, if Jacob dies before Chapter 6, then The Hermit tarot card won't show Jedidiah showing up when Jacob is trapped in the bear trap. Instead Eliza will say, "Strange... this card holds no future. But there's a past that calls out to me." And the vision for it will show Jedidiah watching Bobby throwing a body into the lake and afterwards turn to pick up the hiker backpacks, the same ones Emma previously finds in the back room of the general store.
Note: This incident is the only one I could find that plausibly correlates to the possible date of missing people and one of the dates in the ledger.

From the conversation between Chris and Travis in Chapter 7, we know of at least a journalist that may have also been killed, but no known date associated with that incident. And the other two dates are complete unknowns.

I think the ledger most likely refers to victims that they've disposed of in the lake. Which kind of makes sense considering the ledger is found in the boathouse which is obviously right next to the lake.

Corvin could also give a nod to Underworld as Michael Corvin was related to the Corvinus family but also became a lycan when he was bit.

You mentioned it's weird that they planned the summercamp the night after the fullmoon, but the summercamp took 2 months right? (which is why Laura and Max were trapped for 2 months in the police station). How did the campers get through the full moon that happened right in the middle of camp?

The werewolves actually don't like water because old tales of those kind of creatures and/or similar ones are inspired by dogs and humans with rabies. The infection spreads in a similar way and time, so I assume that Supermassive Games took inspiration from those folk tales and the overall viral disease. Rabies is mainly set in the saliva of the person or animal that has it, which already hurts in itself but is even worse to swallow. Pharyngeal muscle spasms make it very difficult for a rabies victim to actually swallow too, which is why rabies doesn't necessarily cause hydrophobia in itself but rather evokes the fear and inability to swallow liquid, including their own spit. Even the thought of water makes some victims afraid, and I can't imagine how terrible it must've felt for Nick to be pushed and be fully submerged in a body of water in that condition.

This is a great video and I learned some new things!

***spoiler warning***

I just want to clarify that Nick wasn't bitten by Chris Hackett in the woods; Chris was chained up in the attic of the Hackett house at this point in the night. Nick is bitten by Caleb Hackett, so the only way to cure him is by killing Caleb or Silas, the original curse holder. Fun fact: if Abi is bitten in that Chapter 3 woods attack scene (by failing a don't breathe event), she is actually bitten by a werewolf Kaylee which is why she is cured by Chapter 6 when Kaylee is killed

There is a lot of foreshadowing for nick turning into a werewolf, one of my favorites is when abi says to him something along the lines of “I’m sure you’re capable of a lot nick” and he responds with something like “yeah but I don’t know what”. A nod to how he can become a literal murdering beast

You missed a scene where they referenced Until Dawn. Kaitlyn speaks to Dylan about a dream of hers and she mentioned a ski lodge in the mountains

I'm impressed with the backpack detail because I thought it was foreshadowing her becoming demonic in some way.
Had they been angel wings, I would have assumed it was foreshadowing to her death, but specifically an inevitable one and thus the only one worthy of foreshadowing and thus concluded her becoming inevitably evil but transcended by the supernatural force. I do like it being a batman reference better though lol.
