A mum has revealed the terrifying moment she thought she had blinded her newborn baby when he ‘fell out’ of her womb while walking – only to discover he had been born with only one eye.

Victoria Pryor says she gave birth so unexpectedly while walking in her bedroom that her son Aiden ‘fell out’, snapping the umbilical cord.

The 31-year-old initially thought Aiden must have bumped his head as he fell to her bedroom floor, as his eye socket looked small and inverted.

The tot didn’t open up his eyelid for days, but scans revealed that he was missing his left eye altogether – a disorder known as anophthalmia.
