Honda Element 2003-2004 Engine & Transmission Mount Replacement

This is a bear to replace. This is not a How-to, but some quick Tips that will help you get the job done to keep from stripping the threads and getting to the part where you can replace it.
It seems easy but it really challenged me and it helps to have two persons and 17" long and short sockets. Use black tape on the sockets to keep the bolts on the socket ends.

Don't follow this video. There are others that are correct. Take the lower bracket off, need a breaker bar. Yes, support the tranny/motor slightly but do not take off the battery base, do not cut your battery plastic housing. Thanks for the video but this is not the way to do it. Take the lower bracket off. It is really hard to take that center bolt in the middle of the rubber support and you may strip the threads.
